From Rags to Linen By Boca News

Special to The Pineapple I had the pleasure of sitting down with Christina Price local mom and owner of the Linen Closet in Delray Beach. Here is the scoop!
How did the Linen Closet get started? I was selling industrial rags supplying to large boats and yachts. When I went down to the dock in my heels and my handbag one day, one of the mates from the other boat said, “Hey! We need linens for our boat”. I was basically selling engine rags. The mate proceeded to ask me for monogrammed linens and towels and that’s when I thought I can do this. I was raised by my mom around finer linens. So, I started outfitting yachts and large boats with monogrammed towels and linens. Once I made those connections, I started doing baby gifts along with other monogrammed items. That’s how it all started.
